CROWN LOGISTICS ("we", "us") operates a carrier network connecting shippers with authorized motor carriers. This policy explains what information we collect during carrier onboarding and while you operate on our platform, and the choices available to you.
When you apply to haul for CROWN LOGISTICS, we collect the information needed to verify your authority to operate and to keep freight moving safely. This includes:
- Company details — legal name, MC number, DOT number, and EIN / Tax ID
- Contact details — name, email address, and phone number
- Business address — street, city, state, and zip code
- Equipment details — truck type and trailer type
- Compliance documents — MC Authority, insurance certificates, and W-9 forms
- Technical data — device type, browser, and IP address, collected automatically when you use this site
We use the information you provide to:
- Verify your operating authority and insurance coverage
- Set you up as an approved carrier in our network
- Match your equipment to available loads
- Meet our own tax, safety, and regulatory reporting obligations
- Contact you about your application, active loads, or account status
We do not use your data to make automated decisions that carry legal effect without human review.
Documents you upload — MC Authority, insurance certificates, W-9 forms — are encrypted in transit and at rest in our cloud storage. Access is restricted to personnel who need it to process your application, and every access is logged.
No system is completely immune to risk. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify affected carriers without undue delay.
Depending on where your business is registered, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your data, once it is no longer required for compliance or contractual purposes
- Withdraw consent for optional communications at any time

We retain carrier records, including compliance documents, for as long as your carrier account is active and for a period afterward required by transportation and tax regulations — typically several years past the end of the working relationship. After that period, records are securely deleted.
Our services are intended for licensed carriers and their authorized representatives, not for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page, and where appropriate, we'll notify active carriers directly.
